diagnosis of successful marriage indicators (qualitative research)

abstract

purpose: the main goal of this investigation was diagnosis the factors of successful marriage. method: the research methodology was qualitative by employing grounded theory method. statistical population included all couples whom living in tehran and had two years living together. sampling method was purposeful and theoretical sampling. so far 12 ones who got a high score from das& pfq and described themselves as successful couples underwent an in-depth semi-structured interview. opening and axial coding used for analysing data. findings: analysing data indicated four category of successful marriage indices including, communicative indices, individual indices, cultural indices and family related indices. each one of indices include multiple components. this result may use for marriage counselling and opening new ways in solving marital problems.
